Legislative instruments and other matter referred to this committee shall encompass the following subject matter:

• College and university retirement
• Judges retirement
• Retirement, including retirement systems supported in whole or in part by funds of the state or any of its political subdivisions, but excluding retirement matters concerning labor retirement laws related to nonpublic employees
• Retirement of state officials and employees
• School employees', teachers' and other education personnel retirement
