Senator Anne Duplessis and the District 2 Community Enhancement Corporation are pleased to announce the kick off of the "Clean and Beautiful" Campaign, June 21, 2008 at the Bullard Interstate at 10 am and the foot of the St. Claude Avenue Bridge at noon. A ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the event

  This program is designed to foster continuous revitalization of Senate District 2 (Eastern New Orleans and the Lower Ninth Ward) by transforming main roadways into inviting esthetically pleasing thoroughfares for both residents and visitors to the community.

  Residents, community leaders, businesses, churches and schools are urged to become actively engaged in this endeavor by joining "Adopt a Neutral Ground," "Go Green"or becoming a sponsor with Clean and Beautiful. Additionally, engraved commemorative bricks will be available for purchase to sponsors, companies and civic organizations.
