SENATE COMMITTEE WILL MEET TO PROVIDE HELP TO ROAD HOME APPLICANTS

The Senate Committee on Local and Municipal Affairs will hold a meeting to discuss issues with the Road Home Program application process on THURSDAY, MARCH 27th at 3pm at the JACKSON BARRACKS, 6400 ST. CLAUDE AVE in NEW ORLEANS.

District 1 State Senator A.G. Crowe (R-Slidell) encourages those who are having problems with the Road Home Program to bring their application number and get personal help. "Our committee has decided to hold these series of meeting to give applicants a chance to talk to representatives from the Road Home Program face-to-face," said Senator Crowe. "There's no doubt that citizens are frustrated with the slow pace of the application process, so we're going to do all we can to help speed it up and get people the kind of help they need to rebuild."

Representatives from the Office of Community Development, the Louisiana Recovery Authority, ICF International and the Road Home Program will be available to answer citizens' concerns. Applicants should bring their application number to get their specific problems addressed.
